Risk It

Let’s be courageous adventurers and risk keeping our hearts open!

“The only gift we can give to life is to arrive in the present moment with the strength to be open.” ~Ann Mortifee

risk your heart adventure

“An adventurous life does not necessarily mean climbing mountains, swimming with sharks or jumping off cliffs. It means risking yourself by leaving a little piece of you behind in all those you meet along the way.” ~Shawna Grapetin

Oh! πŸ™‚ How I love this!! πŸ™‚ I think the biggest (and most rewarding and couragous) risk we can take, is to open our hearts to the world, and let them stay open no matter what πŸ™‚

Beautiful Gina! I also love what Trini had to say about it. So scary to be vulnerable sometimes, but in doing so, we give permission to others to do so…

I think being adventurous is to risk being who we really are in the world, trusting that whatever reactions we may receive will help us grow and understand still more about our journey in this lifetime and why we’re here. Not so easy, but true adventures rarely are!

Beautifully put Jeanne. I love this point, and indeed true adventures are rarely easy. But how richly rewarding is the higher view as we climb ever higher in our spiritual journey. It’s worth every step.
      Warm hugs, always

This morning in meditation, the thought came to me, “lead with your heart”. Your post meshes with that perfectly!
