Professions for Peace
Gina, one of my favourite verses is, “God inhabits the praises of His People.” One of my favourite paraphrases of this verse is, “God is in the Thank You.”
Lovely share Diana. Thank you! I love your paraphrase, and it’s very true. Worth remembering.
Hugs, Gina xo
I love every single one of these quotes. Since expressing my daily gratitudes for the past several years, my life indeed has been transformed. It is the sure-fire way to happiness. I chuckled to see one of my favorite prayers here: “Dear God, thank you for EVERYTHING.” Blessings! 🙂
Yes I love that prayer too: Dear God, thank you for Everything! Isn’t that the truth?! So important for us to remember to consciously choose thoughts of gratitude. An ‘attitude of gratitude’ makes all the difference. Thank you!! xo Gina
I have always felt that when you live in gratitude you will be given more, but if you constantly complain then something will be taken away from you to show you how much you had to be grateful for in your life in the first place. Thank you for your lovely post Gina!
So true Line! That reminds me of Wayne Dyer once asking the audience, rather playfully, ‘Have you ever noticed how people who complain all the time always seem to have a lot of new material?’ Funny but sadly true. What we focus on expands which is why feeling genuinely grateful for all we have right here and right now is the best way to live. Thanks so much sweet friend. hugs, Gina
Prayers were answered yesterday and my faith refreshed!
This is wonderful news Julie!! Thanks for sharing this uplifting update. xo
Thanks Kim! So glad you enjoyed them.
A sweet and important reminder, Gina!
Thanks so much! I’m delighted you enjoyed this, Andrea. xo hugs, Gina
Love these, Gina. So true about gratitude. It simply raises the vibration of any situation…
Yes it sure does Cathy! And my vibrations are rising with gratitude for you, my friend. xo Gina
Hi Gina, as always, my friend your post has gone straight to my heart….the quotes and images beautiful. Gratitude is indeed about peace – both inner and outer.
With gratitude to you
Thank you so kindly my sweet friend! How wonderful that the things I am pondering upon and working with are speaking to you as well. I also feel that way with every visit to your uplifting blog. Blessings!
Love and Light, Gina xo
