  2. I would not want to end our differences. It would be like eating food containing only one spice or listening to an orchestra playing on one instrument.

  3. I think our fear of opinions that differ from ours comes from their triggering our own inner doubting Thomas.
    I put it this way, “We often act like our belief systems are low quality goods, that any pointed question might easily unravel.”

    1. Wonderful expression Eileen! It perfectly describes the way we see certain people (or organizations) acting from a ‘knee jerk’ reaction of resistance. It often comes from fear, or an inner ‘doubting Thomas’. Thanks so much for this great share.
