Trust and Hold to Hope

We must be humble enough to admit that we do not see very far down the road, and confident enough to acknowledge that there is One with us who does see the right direction for us. If we are willing to trust the Divine Lighting Technician to show us our way, one step at a time, we are apt to appreciate our journey more and enjoy the adventure of following the path set before us – one light at a time. ~ Alan Cohen, Dare To Be Yourself

  1. This remind me of a passage from one of my favorite books “Heidi” by Johanna Spyri: ” I think you have to wait, and keep on thinking that God has something good which He’s going to give you out of the sad thing, but you have to be patient. You see, when something is awfully bad, you don’t know about the good bit coming, and you think it’s going on forever. ” Have a lovely lovely day Gina!

    1. Thanks so much Louise! I love how down-to-earth his manner is. I cherish every part of this old book. It’s battered, well worn, and flagged all over with insights I like to return to. Even though I’ve never met the man, he’s been a teacher of mine for decades. πŸ™‚
