Travel Light

Romans 12:12 NIV ~ Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.

“The greatest spiritual achievement is to maintain a sustained inner equilibrium in the midst of the fluctuating upheavals and demands of daily life.

Our moment-by-moment behavior and mood is the measurement of our true freedom. Cultivate a calm and peaceful disposition. Practice acceptance and surrender to life as it is and spiritual freedom will be yours.”

  1. thanks for the reminders. “surrender to life as it is”….why is that so hard?? I suspect it’s hard for others too and not just me πŸ˜‰ small update: didn’t get called back for the position I was envisioning myself in….but still getting calls nonetheless. hoping this search will come to an end soon and I find myself in a better spot πŸ™‚

    1. Toby my dear! Thank you for this update. I came over to visit and shared my Likes but wasn’t sure where I could ask how the search is going. I believe in you and know the right and perfect employment is on its way. It would be nice if it would hurry up and get here though, right? πŸ˜€ Love and hugs, Gina

      1. it would be very nice indeed if it would just hurry up already! however, I just picked up an email from a recent interview and they want to MOVE FORWARD (music to my ears!!) and bring me in!! WHEE!!! this could be it! but if not, the one from yesterday might be good too. it’s nice to have options! btw, did you know that my email address shows up when I comment here? you could email me there if you like, I wouldn’t mind πŸ˜‰ thanks for all the encouragement, I really appreciate it!! will keep ya posted πŸ˜‰

    1. Thanks so much Val! I’m delighted you found this heart warming. πŸ™‚ Self-promotion is great but anyone can click your NAME to reach your blog so adding links poses the risk of your comment being grabbed by automatic filters and thrown in the ‘spam dungeon’ (so to speak).
Finding our middle ground is worthy work and I enjoy all our shared visits. xo Blessings, Gina
