Thank you, dear heart.
I have a very old piece of embroidery, framed on our bedroom wall…stitched by my grandmother, long, long ago…”home fires are brightest, home ties are strongest”…with a fire in a fireplace, two cats sitting in front of the fire. Thank you for adding so many special suggestions for keeping those home fires burning.
What a wonderful piece of art for your most sacred of rooms, and with the lovely history of being from your grandmother. How lovely! Thank you so much for sharing your delightful comment. Blessings, Gina
Love this and will keep it in mind if I ever find myself in a romantic relationship again!
Diana, my friend, you are a gem and as Rumi poetically suggested, your mate is within your heart, and will arrive in due time. I lived a valued and rich solo life for decades, until it was time for a new life and I love every moment of it 🙂 Thanks, as always, for your cherished visit.
Wow! Really? for decades? That’s amazing because I always think that it would be too hard for me to invite someone else into my life now…because I’ve been so independant and perhaps so used to my life this way. That’s very encouraging. Thank you!
I’m glad I shared about that! Yes, I believe in finding love at every and any stage of life we may find ourselves single in. The key point for me was continuing to live a rich and full life and to not give into ‘pining’ but rather smile when I saw cute couples (of all ages) and know that I too would have that. Hugs to you my friend! Gina
🙂 I do that…I mean smile when I see couples in love, continue to live my life, etc….
