  1. I know I haven’t been reading lately and I’m sorry about that but I will be catching up very soon! It’s hard to keep up with so many great blogs. I’m sure you understand. Anyway, I wish you a lovely day/night! πŸ™‚

    1. You are so sweet, dear heart! I totally understand and hope you do as well when there are lapses between my visits. You’re always on my list of places I follow and I enjoy returning and catching up! I look forward to seeing you in the blogosphere again soon πŸ™‚

  2. Thank you for this post – it reminded me of a poem by Aldous Huxley:
    A million million spermatozoa,
    All of them alive:
Out of their cataclysm but one poor Noah
    Dare hope to survive.
And among that billion minus one
    Might have chanced to be
Shakespeare, another Newton, a new Donne –
    But the One was Me

    1. This is FANTASTIC! Thank you so very much for sharing this excellent poem by Aldous Huxley. It is a beautiful piece of work, and I shall set about memorizing it, because it is a great reminder. There is one one me (or you πŸ˜‰ ) Thanks again for this wonderful comment. Warmest regards, Gina

      1. Glad you liked it. The funny thing is I read it once in university and have neve forgotten it!
        Peace (and tea) πŸ™‚

  3. Hi and I wish to tell you how happy I am to have found your blog and that you also found mine! Yours is lovely and full of wonderous and inspiring words and images. I also love your gravatar image: the peace rose, symbol of the Blessed Mother’s heart. I will look forward to reading your blog and hope you stop by mine and say hi once in a while also…. blessings and peace, Leigh

    1. Hello Leigh, I am delighted to have found you and your blog! Thank you dearly for these kind words, and I feel the same way about visiting your place. It feels like home, like a place to sit and enjoy some tea and stay a while. Be inspired. Remember the Truth of our Being. Thank you also for acknowledging my Gravatar’s significance, and yours touches my heart – about singing over the bones. Precious practice, and reminds me of the power of coming together as we sing for peace. I will most certainly enjoy visiting you on a very regular basis! You’ve already become a part of my map for places where I enjoy receiving spiritual nourishment. Love and Light, Gina

  4. Thank you so much for following my blog. Don’t know if you saw this post,
http://melanielynngriffin.wordpress.com/2013/01/14/weekly-photo-challenge-illumination-on-the-porch/, but it contains the following quote from Martha Graham:
β€œThere is a vitality, a life force, a quickening that is translated through you into action, and because there is only one of you in all time, this expression is unique. And if you block it, it will never exist through any other medium and (will) be lost. The world will not have it. It is not your business to determine how good it is; nor how valuable it is; nor how it compares with other expressions. It is your business to keep it yours, clearly and directly, to keep the channel open. You do not even have to believe in yourself or your work. You have to keep open and aware directly to the urges that motivate you. Keep the channel open. No artist is pleased. There is no satisfaction whatever at any time. There is only a queer, divine dissatisfaction, a blessed unrest that keeps us marching and makes us more alive than the others.”
I love it! Thanks for your post, and thanks again for visiting & following. I’m excited to meet another Blogger for Peace!

    1. Hello Melanie! I too am delighted to meet you and follow your wonderful work at your blog. This quote is WONDERFUL, thank you for sharing it πŸ˜€ It is an important reminder to acknowledge how precious is the Light that only we ourselves can shine out. Love and Light to you! Namaste, Gina

  5. Great stuff! To me what resonates is , ” Become your authentic self.” This at once brings so much clarity but so difficult to achieve. We get constantly stonewalled by our beliefs and fears.

    1. Hello Shakti, thanks so much for visiting and commenting. Yes that one resonates with me too, and is a challenge at times. I find it becomes easier for me as I relax and breathe into who I am at my core. I work on removing those ‘stonewalling’ false beliefs, brick by brick, and they become weaker, and fade. Thank you for this wonderful and thought provoking comment. Namaste. Gina

  6. I feel exactly the same way my friend! Thank you God/Great Spirit/Universal Intelligence, for this wonderful blogging platform and for finding each other here. You brighten all my days. Together, hand in hand, in working towards peace in our own hearts, and families, and communities, and outwards to the World. You are my brother, and I am so thankful. Namaste. Gina
