Receiving More

~Receiving More Than We Expected~

Gifts shared from the heart! It’s so special when our loved ones do what they can to give us something we’ve asked for. And it’s especially touching when they notice little things we’ve mentioned, and bravely guess at a gift they trust we’ll enjoy, and successfully bring joyful surprise to our hearts. I truly feel I’ve received far more than I asked for or expected.

Whoso draws near to God one stepThis reminds me of how generously we are provided for in our existence, immersed as we are in spirit.

Anyone who takes one move, one step, one thought towards God will be rewarded unconditionally with the loving energy of the Universe (that I choose to call God) moving ten-fold closer towards us. Even if doubt has dimmed our faith, each move we make towards God will brighten our world and bring us more good than we expected.

life answers 3 waysLet us choose to journey through life appreciative and immersed in gratitude to God, and we will enjoy an abundance of blessings more than we ever dreamed of. God always gives us more than we asked for, if we only have the inner sight to see.

God may delay our hoped-for gift’s arrival or even change its appearance because there is something much greater in store for us… even more than we expected. Let’s have faith.

  1. I agree. I worked so hard to be sure that my immediate family members made happy memories this Christmas. Much to my surprise, they did the same for me! It was wonderful!!

    1. How wonderful! I especially like how you focused on making ‘happy memories’ which I agree is one of the ultimate points of the season. I’m so glad you enjoyed your holiday. Thanks for sharing! Hugs, Gina 🙂
