Professions for Peace
Thank you, Scott Sorrell, for these words of wisdom.
It is a universal truth for us to start within if we wish to see change outside.
As Gandhi taught us all,
“Be the change you wish to see in the world.”
I endeavour to do my part, every day.
Endeavor you do as positive change you are thank you for loving, sharing and being the change!
How very nice of you to say! You too are as well. Let us continue to share the divine love within, outward!
That is the path we share and shall continue to share with all we touch! You are Gorgeous! Thank you!
This is wonderful. Thank you for these very wise words!
Thank you Penny ~ your visits mean so much!
Most definitely welcome!
Yes, yes, yes! I have this quote by Ghandi as a sticker in my car. I also have songs that urge me to be the change. It’s true I can’t change the whole world, but what makes me so happy is that I can touch the life of the person around me–and even a couple more!
Great post, Gina. Keep the gospel alive.
Hello Uzoma! I love that you have the Gandhi quote as a sticker in your car! What a wonderful reminder it is. I agree whole-heartedly with everything you’ve said here, and it makes me happy to be a source of cheer and kindness to every person who crosses my path as I go about my day also. And if I can touch a few more here, that is a bonus! Bless your heart, kind man, for being a living gospel indeed. Namaste, Gina
I have a ring that says that very quote “Be the change you wish to see in the world.”
I wear it every single day. It is such a delight when someone asks me what it says and I get to tell them.
So much truth in just one little sentence. 🙂
Mary Elizabeth, I adore the fact that you have the Gandhi quote on a ring! How very cool is that. Especially that the words would be tiny, and would encourage others to ask what it says, and you get to share and get people pondering and discussing this important concept. Good for you! And thank you so much for your delightful comment 🙂 Hugs, Gina
Wished more people would think that way and improve themselves and be more loving and kind. We cannot say it often enough and striving for being better persons. Great post , good reminder! 🙂
Thank you Ute, and well put – that we simply cannot say it enough. Turning inward and working on ourselves then naturally reflects outward and helps create a better world. It is a simple and powerful concept. Thanks again for your wonderful comment 🙂 Cheers, Gina
So true. This is the way to be…
Yes it is indeed. Thanks for sharing 🙂
Reblogged this on emocrippled.
It’s the simple truth 🙂
So true 😀 Thanks for your comment!
Wonderful post, we can all endeavour to make the world a better place by doing small acts with lots of love x
Thank you, I am so glad you enjoyed. I am always eager to celebrate the fact that small acts DO add up, and definitely help make the world a better place. xo
Yes, and that is where it starts… our daily efforts. 😉
♥ Yes indeed! Our intentions and attitudes in every little moment – this leads to peace. Thank You!
This couldn’t be more true, and it’s the thought that can be the brakes when our runaway cars have some other intent in mind. 🙂
I just used this quote in a job I worked on; thought you would enjoy it – “How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to improve the world.” ~Anne Frank
This is wonderful! Thank you for your visit, your kind comment, and this delightful quote by Anne Frank. Yes let us all not wait a single moment before doing something to improve the world. It is dreamers like you and I and all dreamers for peace that must hold together and believe in the truth: Hope is a powerful force. ~Hugs xo
Your endeavoring has made a real differnece in the world, and a huge difference in mine. Thank you, Gina.
