1childeye EarthLet us visualize what we want to have happen… imagine and see the life we want to walk into. Let’s think about what we want to have happen in our future. See it now. Notice it. Focus on it.

Kind actions are happening right here and right now, all around us. Look for the polite drivers who let in that merging car, and the courteous cashier who calls “I’m open over here.” Maybe you’ll observe a neighbor who smiles at others or a bus driver who is kind. Let’s see the good. Focus on it. And also do what we can to BE the good. Let’s lead the way, and show how it’s done. Role models matter! And helping to shine light and kindness in the world really can be as simple as a genuine smile.

nature therapyTake care of YOU so that you can bring your brightest light. Remember that what you think about, focus on, and do really makes a difference in our world, more than you may ever know. Your smiling face, good mood and congenial kindness all help raise the energy of everyone around you.

Begin within, find your faith (whatever touches and inspires your heart), take care of you, and shine your light brightly. Let’s all do what we can to fill our hearts with so much gratitude and love that our hearts can overflow into the hearts of others!

We need your light. You are beautiful. Thank you for visiting, reading, and being You! Love, Gina ~ Professions For Peace

Put A Little Love In Your Heart

From the SCROOGED Movie Soundtrack, here is an excellent cover of Jackie DeShannon’s 1969 song, beautifully performed by Al Green and Annie Lennox.

Think of your fellow man
Lend him a helping hand
Put a little love in your heart
You see it’s getting late
Oh, please don’t hesitate
Put a little love in your heart

And the world will be a better place
And the world will be a better place
For you and me
You just wait and see

Another day goes by
And still the children cry
Put a little love in your heart
If you want the world to know
We won’t let hatred grow
Put a little love in your heart

And the world will be a better place
And the world will be a better place
For you and me
You just wait and see, wait and see

Take a good look around
And if you’re lookin’ down
Put a little love in your heart
And I hope when you decide
Kindness will be your guide
Put a little love in your heart

And the world will be a better place
And the world will be a better place
For you and me
You just wait and see
Put a little love in your heart
Each and every day
Put a little love in your heart
There’s got to be a better way
Put a little love in your heart
Don’t you think it’s time we start
Put a little love in your heart

Ripples of Kindness

To the world you may be one person,

but to one person you may be the world. ~Bill Wilson

Here are two short videos that demonstrate the ripple effect that happens when we do good deeds. Let us all do good deeds, just for the sake of being kind. Remember, there are a lot of good people in the world. Unsung heroes are everywhere. Let’s endeavor to be an unsung hero ourselves, leading the way to a kinder world, one act of compassion at a time.

My deep gratitude to KindnessBlog.com for helping me find the first video “Unsung Hero” so that I may pass it along to even more people. The endless examples of kindness they gather and share on their blog not only lifts hearts and raises spirits, but the abundance shows there is no limit to examples of kindness. Let’s look for the good all around us and share about it. Let’s be the good.
